A five-day Border Area Youth Exchange Programme (BAYEP), organised by Nehru Yuva Kendra, saw participants from Assam, Bihar, Jharkhand, Sikkim and West Bengal visit Meghalaya.
The programme began on March 5 and concluded on March 9.
Activities included yoga, sessions by experts on various topics, visits to Dawki, Mawlynnong and Don Bosco Centre for Indigenous Culture.
Deputy Commissioner of Eastern West Khasi Hills, Anita Kharpor, was the chief guest at the closing function and thanked NYK Shillong for hosting this programme and expressed hope that the participants gained valuable insights during their stay in Meghalaya.
