The National Lok Adalat was today held across the State in which 143 cases were settled for a total amount of Rs. 75, 18,326.
The number of cases taken up at the Lok Adalat was 1065 out of which, 737 pre-litigation cases and 328 pending cases.
The Meghalaya State Legal Services Authority on Saturday organized a National Lok Adalat, across all districts in the state.
The National Lok Adalat was organised by the Meghalaya State Legal Services Authority under the aegis of the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA).
