      JHADC CEM allocates portfolios among Ems

      Thombor Shiwat, Chief Executive Member (CEM) of JHADC, on March 4, distributed portfolios to the Executive Members (EMs) of the Council.

      There are 11 Executive Members including Shiwat as CEM, while Lasky Rymbai will be the Deputy Chief Executive Member, along with nine EMs in charge of various departments within the Council.

      The CEM has kept General Administration, Planting, Establishment, Appointment, Posting and Transfer, Administration of District Council Fund, Revenue Receipt, Finance, Budget, Pension, Gratuitous Relief Fund, Investment, Relief and Rehabilitation, Investigation, Share of Royalty on Minor and Major Minerals, Permission and No Objection Certificate for factories. Land Revenue, Land Reform and Cadastral Survey, Land Holding Certificate and No Objection Certificate, Land Valuation, Non Encumbrance Certificate, Land Acquisition and Compensation, Land Settlement, Mutation and Relinquishment of Pattas, Land Lease. Buniaj Land, Puja Land, Service Land, Community Land, Religious Land and Land Rent within the Elaka Narting and others.

      Lasky Rymbai, Deputy Chief Executive Member shall be responsible for the Administration of Art & Culture, Village and Town, Civil Works and Central Special Assistance Grant, Finance Commission Schemes, State Annual Plan for Financing Own Plan Schemes and Building Schemes under Council Own Fund, Website and Computer Cell and other areas under the Jowai Elaka.

      Hambertus Nongtdu (EM) will look after the Administration of Forest Department, Grant-in-aid from the State Forest for raising Plantation, Registration of Village and Sacred Grove, Community Forest, Private Forest and Zaminder Forest, Weighbridges, Working Schemes, Custom and Usages Revenue and Codification, of Customary Land Revenue, works within the Elaka Nongkhlieh and others.

      Bisonrov Iano (EM) will look after Fisheries, Agriculture & Soil. Land Revenue, Land Reform, works within the Elakas of Raliang and Shangpung.

      Jesse Suiam (EM) will look after the Trading by Non Tribal and Enforcement Machineries, Non Tribals Employees Service Licenses, Taxes on Profession, Trades Calling and Employments, Entry Tax on Vehicle, Land Revenue and works under Elaka of Maskut.

      Pheinehwa Nauglein (EM) will look after the Grant of Licenses for Registration of Marriage and works of Elakas of Nongjngi and Nongbah.

      Het Pohthmi (EM) has been allotted, Stationery and Printing, Social Reforms, Extraction and Transportation of Coal and Government Housing Policy, Land Holding Certificate and No Objection Certificate and lands under Elakas Narpuh and Darrang.

      Seiborlang Shadap (EM) has been allotted Administration of Market Department and will look after affairs under Elaka Sutnga.

      Medling M. Swer (EM) will look after Administration of Statistic and Information Department and Town Committee Affairs, and affairs under Elakas of Nongtalang, Saipung, Sumer Sirdarship and Amwi.

      Aiborlang Shadap Executive Member has been allocated Political including Political Cases, Election and Appointment of Dolloi/Sirdar and Waheh Shnong, Inter Elaka Boundary and Demarcation and affairs under Elakas of Shilliang Myntang and Mynso.

      Meanwhile, Violet Lyngdoh (EM) will look after Administration of Education and Judicial Department and affairs under Elaka of Rymbai.
