The Department of Sports and Youth Affairs has invited applications for the state government’s sports scholarships for athletes who have brought laurels to Meghalaya at regional, national and international level tournaments in 2024-25.
Those athletes who had success at such events between 2022 and 2024 but who did not yet apply for the scholarships yet are also eligible.
Detailed guidelines and application form can be obtained from the office of the Director of Sports and Youth Affairs in Polo Ground here or from the individual state sports associations.
Applications must be submitted no later than March 4, 2025.
