      National Lok Adalat settles 159 cases

      The National Lok Adalat was today held across the State in which 159 cases were settled for a total amount of Rs. 1, 43, 22,263.

      The number of cases taken up at the Lok Adalat was 868, out of which, 517 Pre-Litigation cases and 351 pending cases

      The National Lok Adalat was organised by the Meghalaya State Legal Services Authority under the aegis of the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA).
