Twenty-six girls will take part in final selection trials from tomorrow to make it to the Meghalaya Cricket Association’s U-15 girls’ team.
The MCA has released a list of eligible girls who have cleared the TW-3 age verification test and these will now attend the final selection trials to be held in Nongkhrah, Ri-Bhoi on 30 October to 1 November. Reporting time on the first day is 7:30am.
Once the trials are over, a list of 15 players with standbys will be declared and a preparatory camp held for them from 2 to 17 November, also at Nongkhrah, ahead of the BCCI’s U-15 Women’s One Day Tournament.
Twenty-one of the girls cleared the test earlier this month, while five were still eligible for the U-15 category on the basis of their test last year.
The eligible girls are: Isha Ray, Namesha A Marak, Sweetcemary Khongthing, Leeny Rai, Sharaisuk Marpna, Banchilla Marak, Philawanbiang Syiemlieh, Adalyn Fedilia Lyngkhoi, Anniba Aiyosha D Sangma, Eliza Lyngdoh, Deimi Alaska R Marak, Onasa M Sangma, Reavydaysha Lyngkhoi, Priya, Bijime Ch Momin, Philasyrpai, Idashisha Sohshang, Sonakshi R Marak, Rijanailin Peinleng, Beneros D Shira, Rafinia Ryntathiang, Diya Biswa, Joanna Pyngrope, Jennifer Fancon, Deijiana M Sangma, Evanrihun Sohshang
