Justice Indra Prasanna Mukerji was sworn in as the new Chief Justice of the Meghalaya High Court today.
Governor Chandrashekhar H Vijayashankar administered the oath of office at a ceremony held at the Durbar Hall of Raj Bhavan.
Justice Mukerji was appointed as a judge of the Calcutta High Court in May 2009 and is due to retire on September 5, 2025. He is the senior-most judge of the Calcutta High Court.
