ICAR-Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) distributed 1700 ducklings, feed and mineral mixture to 95 farmers of different villages in West Garo Hills district.
The distribution was held during a farmer’s awareness programme held in collaboration Ramie Research Station, ICAR-CRIJAF, Sorbhog, Assam on September 15
In the programme, Dr. Prasanta Kr Das, Scientist, RRS, Sorbhog and Dr. Monica Singh, Dr. Tarun Kumar Das and Dr. Sagarika Borah from the KVK highlighted about the management of improved breed of duck for sustainability of livelihood and motivated the farmers to adopt improved of duck like Khaki Cambel and White Pekin.
