In compliance with University Grants Commission (UGC) guidelines, William Carey University (WCU) is observing ‘Anti-Ragging Week’ from August 12 to 18.
To mark the beginning of this initiative, Assistant Inspector General (Law and Order) Vivek Syiem was the special guest today. He delivered a keynote address on anti-ragging and officially inaugurated Anti-Ragging Week. The inaugural event was attended by the WCU Vice-Chancellor, Prof Soma Bhowmick, along with other dignitaries, scholars and students of the university.
