Former Phulbari MLA SG Esmatur Mominin has alleged that people with vested interests have formed a school managing committee (SMC) for the Jana Priya Higher Secondary School in Bholarbhita without following the norms.
Mominin and, separately, several concerned individuals who wrote to the District School Education Officer (DSEO) of West Garo Hills, said that the SMC was formed without consulting the “guardians and well-wishers” of the school, the school principal or the DSEO.
Although Mominin, in a video uploaded on social media, did not mention names, the letter to the DSEO did, accusing two government employees and a school teacher of being behind the formation of this SMC.
