Two persons were arrested for their alleged involvement in the blast that occurred on Saturday in Sweeper’s Colony.
East Khasi Hills Superintendent of Police, Rituraj Ravi in a statement issued today said the arrested are Tarson Lymba (58) and Ebakordor Nongpluh (26).
Ravi said Lymba was arrested from Dawki and Nongpluh from the city. Both the accused are residents of West Jaiñtia Hillls.
Lymba is the disciplinary secretary of Hynniewtrep National Youth Front (HNYF).
