South Shillong MLA Sanbor Shullai undertook a joint inspection for the planned construction of a football ground at Madan Laban with engineers and officials of the State Sports Council, headmen and other stakeholders on Saturday.
The work includes construction of dressing rooms, office, boundary fence and retaining wall, drain, gallery and synthetic football turf, which has received sanction of Rs 5 crore from the Sports and Youth Affairs Department.
