A pilot car which was part of the convoy of Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma met with an accident at Upper Shillong on Saturday morning.
According to reports, the accident was a minor one and no one was injured in the incident.
Reports also stated that the accident took place when one of the pilot cars (ML02 5627) of the Meghalaya Chief Minister’s convoy collided head on with a Bolero Pik up (ML05 Y 7850) coming from the opposite direction.
Both the vehicles were partially damaged in the incident.
The incident took place while the Chief Minister was on his way to Dawki town close to the Indo-Bangladesh border for an official programme.
