Mawsynram registers 303mm of rain, more wet weather

Mawsynram recorded 303.8mm of rain on Sunday, with more wet weather predicted for the state on Monday.

Thunderstorms with lightning and heavy to very heavy and extremely heavy rainfall are very likely at isolated places on Monday, the Indian Meteorological Department informed. The heaviest rain is expected in East Khasi Hills.

Shella recorded 222.0mm of rainfall today, Williamnagar 196.0mm, the Ramkrishna Mission station at Sohra 188.4mm, Pynursla 172.0mm and Mawkyrwat 124.0mm.
