Eastern Air Commander Air Marshal SP Dharkar concluded his two-day visit to Bagdogra air base today.
During his visit the Air Marshal was briefed on operational, maintenance and administrative preparedness of the Station. He also inaugurated the full motion Mi-17 V5 Simulator at the base, which is expected to enhance the safety of air operations in the challenging terrain and weather of the eastern sector.
The AOC-in-C also visited the satellite station at Bhuttabari and interacted with all air warriors, where he emphasized on the need to remain operationally focused and appreciated their good work.
