North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU) today signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Sodexo, a company in the food services and facilities management business.
The MoU was signed in the presence of the deans of the various schools of NEHU and representatives of the French-based Sodexo, Annick De Vanssay, Chief Human Resource Officer and Sandeep Kumar, HR Operations Head, India.
In his speech, NEHU Vice-Chancellor Prof PS Shukla offered the university as a location for a North East branch of Sodexo. He also assured that NEHU’s student body would be an ideal provider of manpower for the company.
Vanssay thanked the VC and his team in pursuing the company for an MoU and thanked him, saying that the company looks forward to visiting the university with the recruitment team to hire as many students as possible.
