National People’s Party (NPP) Phulbari MLA, S.G. Esmatur Mominin and former Mookaiaw MLA, Robinus Syngkon joined All India Trinamool Congress (AITC) today.
Mominin had tendered his resignation as an MLA yesterday to join the AITC. Synkon is a sitting MDC of Jaiñtia Hills Autonomous District Council (JHADC) and had contested the 2018 election on BJP ticket.
The Meghalaya Trinamool Congress welcomed the leaders during a function held at Pinewood Hotel in the presence of State President Charles Pyngrope and Trinamool Congress Legislature Party Leader Dr. Mukul Sangma.
“We have two young dynamic leaders of the state who’ve along with their supporters decided to be a part of the Meghalaya Trinamool Congress and be a part of our resolve to serve the state and nation as a whole,” Pyngrope said.
