Twenty-two lawyers from different parts of the state today joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at an event held at the State party office in Shillong.
“The lawyers expressed confidence that only a BJP government could properly manage the law and order situation of the state,” the BJP media department said in a release.
The lawyers placed their hope for a National Law School in Meghalaya in a BJP led government, the party said, adding, they desire to see more members of the legal fraternity to join and support the BJP for the betterment of the state.
