As part of the commemoration of 75 years of independence, a bike rally that is set to visit every state in the country will reach Meghalaya on Wednesday.
The rally, comprising 75 bikers, has been organised by the Union Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports in collaboration with All India Motorbike Expedition and will cover 21,000km across 250 districts.
The team will reach Meghalaya through Malidor, East Jaintia Hills, and will proceed towards Shillong, a press release from the Department of Sports and Youth Affairs said today. The bikers will then leave Shillong on Thursday morning.
