Police arrested one person and recovered stolen car batteries from his possession.
According to the police, a total of four batteries have been recovered from a local taxi bearing registration number ML 05 E 6607 this morning.
Acting on a tip off, police from Nongmensong outpost had intercepted the local taxi carrying the stolen material.
The batteries were stolen from vehicles parked at Last Stop Laban last night.
A case has been registered at Laban police station.
