The Garo Students Union (GSU) has appointed new executive members for its western zone headquartered in Raksamgre.
A zonal meeting was held on September 17 with GSU central body president Tengsak G Momin present to constitute the new western zone body.
Oath-taking was done in front of Nokmas, Sardars, senior citizens and others. The new office bearers, who will serve for five years, are president Odith A Sangma, vice-president Nyzer Chuang R Marak, general secretary Tengroang R Marak, additional GS Salnam M Marak and assistant GS Willin Marak.
