The State government has carried out a major reshuffle in the bureaucracy where eight MCS officers have been partially placed at the disposal of the Community & Rural Development Department for appointment as Block Development Officers (BDOs).
According to the latest order, Silvester Phanbuh, Extra Assistant Commissioner, East Khasi Hills has been appointed as BDO of Mawpat Community & Rural Development Block.
Dr. Laureate R. Hynniewta, Extra Assistant Commissioner, Eastern West Khasi Hills has been appointed as BDO of Mairang Community & Rural Development Block.
Tosanbha Marwein, Extra Assistant Commissioner, East Khasi Hills has been appointed as BDO of Mawlai Community & Rural Development Block.
Lamriche Kharmon, Extra Assistant Commissioner, Mawshynrut (Civil) Sub-Division who has been transferred and posted as Extra Assistant Commissioner, Pynursla (Civil) Sub-Division has been appointed as BDO of Pynursla Community & Rural Development Block.
Ruby B R Sangma, Extra Assistant Commissioner, West Garo Hills District has been appointed as BDO of Demdema Community & Rural Development Block.
Armand Ch Momin, Extra Assistant Commissioner, South West Garo Hills has been appointed as BDO of Rerapara Community & Rural Development Block.
Saljagring G. Momin, Extra Assistant Commissioner, West Garo Hills has been appointed as BDO of Gambegre Community & Rural Development Block.
Halley N. Sangma, Extra Assistant Commissioner, South Garo Hills has been appointed as BDO of Rongara Community & Rural Development Block.
Meanwhile, John Pericles Lakiang, Director of Education, Research & Training and Joint Secretary to the Education Department shall also function as Chief Executive Officer, Shillong Municipal Board.
Vivera Alicia Hynniewta, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Ri-Bhoi has been transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner, West Khasi Hills. She shall also function as Additional Deputy Commissioner in-charge Mawshynrut (Civil) Sub-Division.
