The North-Eastern Hill University Students Union (NEHUSU) will hold a protest on Thursday over the alleged non-compliance of the varsity’s administration with regards to various student issues.
These issues include those related to academics, transportation, hostels, medical, library, campus and maintenance.
In a release, NEHUSU said that it has placed student grievances with the administration after the new Vice-Chancellor was appointed but the administration has kept “turning blind eyes and deaf ears towards the needs and requirements of the students.”
The students union urged all NEHU students to participate at the protest, which will be held from 11am at the central library.
