Residents of Mindikgre have written a letter to the South Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner alleging irregularities in the functioning of the local fair price shop.
The letter’s signatories claim that the FPS dealer, named as Alitson N Sangma, has not supplied rice, sugar and kerosene to residents since November 2021.
The ration card holders have approached him for an explanation but this has not been forthcoming, they claimed. The signatories have already approached the Superintendent of Supply in this matter.
