A highly decomposed body of a man was found in a stream at Umbar village in South West Khasi Hills district, police said today.
The unidentified body was first seen by villagers on May 24 at around 9 am. Police said the deceased was about 30-35 years of age and was wearing a black t-shirt and blue jeans.
All legal formalities have been completed and police said the body is kept at the Ranikor CHC morgue for identification and claims.
