“We are hopeful that our president would fulfill the aspirations of the people to finally see peace by bringing the HNLC to the mainstream,” HNYF vice president Marcus Marten told a press conference in Nongpoh today.
Marten said that the group is happy with the decision taken by the HNLC to come back and join the mainstream and appealed people of the State to support their president.
He further urged the State government to take the peace talks seriously and speed it up so that all the members of the militant outfit will come back soon and work together for the prosperity of the state.
