Air Marshal DK Patnaik, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Eastern Air Command visited Air Force Station Hasimara, a premier airbase in West Bengal on November 13-14.
He was received by Air Commodore Ashish Srivastava, Air Officer Commanding of Air Force Station Hasimara.
The Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief interacted with all personnel at the base. During the interaction, he emphasised the key role to be played by the base in view of the new induction of Rafale fighter jets.
He stressed upon the need to be focused and vigilant owing to the strategic location of the station, especially in the present geopolitical scenario. He touched upon the various initiatives being taken by the Indian Air Force in terms of human resource management and exhorted all personnel to remain physically fit and mentally agile to undertake all tasks in service to the nation.
