The NESFAS book ‘Indigenous Peoples’ Food Systems: Insights on Sustainability and Resilience from the Front Line of Climate Change’, which also featured a section on the Khasi food systems, has been chosen for the Best 2021 Sustainability Publication Award.
The award is from Hallbars and the Alfred Nobel Museum. The section on Khasi food systems came out of a study area in Nongtraw, East Khasi Hills.
The formal award ceremony will be held online on September 30.
