Chief Minister Conrad Sangma today asked his adviser to take the post “seriously and advice in a proper manner.”
The Chief Minister’s advisory comes after BJP leader, Hek who was also appointed as his adviser after being replaced by Sanbor Shullai criticised police action in the wake of the killing of the ex-HNLC leader.
Hek spoke to a television channel and said that the MDA government was reacting like ‘Taliban’.
Reacting to the statement, Sangma said the statement made by his adviser came in a “sorry way.” “He is an adviser to the Chief Minister and he should take the post seriously and advice in a proper manner,” the Chief Minister added.
The Chief Minister also urged Hek to act professionally and in a matured manner. “This is not the way we deal with things,” he said.
The Chief Minister also said Hek was replaced after the BJP high command made a decision. “So therefore maybe this (outburst by Hek) is just a reaction to that and a lot of comments have been coming out,” he said, adding, that the BJP’s internal matter should not be reflected on the government.
