Three developmental projects sanctioned under the MGNREGS scheme were inaugurated at Umeit village under Bhoirymbong C&RD Block.
The projects were inaugurated by Ri Bhoi Deputy Commissioner, R.M Kurbah yesterday are a footpath, motorable road and an Aganwadi centre.
Kurbah lauded the efforts put in by the Village Employment Council of Umeit that will benefit the villages. She urged residents to utilise these projects and called for collective responsibility to take care of government properties meant for their welfare.
Block Development Officer of Bhoirymbong C&RD Block, Dr. CJK Wajri, local headman, A. Dkhar and the local residents of Umeit village attended the function.
