South Shillong MLA Sanbor Shullai has invited eligible residents of the constituency to apply for financial aid.
Those eligible include taxi drivers, sumo, auto and tempo drivers, archery counter employees, physically disabled persons, daily wage workers, coolies, domestic workers, hawkers, street vendors, ASHAs and Anganwadi workers.
Employees of Shillong Cantonment and Shillong Municipal Area are also eligible to apply if they are involved in dead body management under the constituency.
Those in need can contact the office of their respective Dorbar Shnong, headman, local Covid committee management team (CCMT) or the Covid relief committee staff working at the residential office of Shullai. Registration should be done by 6pm of June 21.
