Two dead bodies are being kept at the morgue in Shillong Civil Hospital awaiting collection by relatives.
One Deka Boro (35) of Umshyrpi, Shillong, was admitted to the Covid-19 unit on May 2 and passed away on May 31.
The other has been identified as Ribarson Kharbihkhiew (27) of Nongmynsong, Shillong, who was also admitted to the Covid ward on May 25. He passed away on June 1.
Relatives of the deceased have been requested to claim the body from the hospital morgue immediately, failing which it will be disposed of by the Shillong Municipal Board.
