The North Eastern Police Academy (NEPA) in Umsawkhwan, Ri-Bhoi, has been declared a containment zone by the District Magistrate.
NEPA will be contained until May 6.
Micro-containment zones were also applied to residential compounds in Nongdiengngan village.
These orders were passed to contain Covid-19 after cases of the disease were picked up in both locations.
