The State till Saturday have vaccinated 16,478 health care workers out of which 9764 have got their second dose, health authorities informed.
Director of Health Services (MI), Dr. Aman War informed that vaccination achievement for frontline workers till March 12 for the first dose is 29,761, of which 667 have got their second dose.
The vaccination achievement for the general public based on the eligible age group till Saturday for the first dose is 9695.
The State also recorded six more new Covid-19 cases taking the number of active cases to 26. Of the six new cases two were recorded in East Khasi Hills and four in Ri-Bhoi district. East Khasi Hills district has 17 active cases, Ri-Bhoi six and West Garo Hills three.
The total number of total recovered cases till Saturday afternoon is 13818.
The total number of persons tested for Covid-19 so far is 3, 83, 450 and 3, 69, 458 tested negative for the virus. A total of 13, 992 cases have been tested for the virus and 148 have died.
The number of entrants who entered the State from outside Meghalaya till; Saturday afternoon is 95, 775.
