Only days after stirring a hornet’s nest by saying that the two MLAs belonging to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) – AL Hek and Sanbor Shullai – wanted a change in the state party leadership, Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma today washed his hands of the matter by saying that it was an issue that the saffron outfit has to sort out on its own.
“I [should] ensure that discussions with the coalition partners, with the MLAs of the alliance are always there and the internal differences within the BJP is their internal matter to resolve,” Sangma said.
