The Public Health Engineering Executive Engineer of the Electrical Division in Mawphlang has warned the public to expect muddy piped water from February 3 due to the release of water through new Greater Shillong Water Supply Scheme pipes at full capacity.
“…There is a likelihood that the quality of treated water released may be turbid,” a press release said today. “The general public of the Greater Shillong is requested to bear for a few days.”
