As per revised schedule approved by the Election Commission, the final electoral roll is scheduled for publication on October 26, 2026.
A special drive for enrolment of left-out, first-time and young electors is proposed after final publication. The Commission has reiterated that enrolment is a continuous process.
The office of the CEO urged electors to check their names after publication through their Booth Level Officer or through the Voters’ Service Portal. It reminded that possession of EPIC alone does not entitle a person to vote unless his or her name is included in the electoral roll.
