Jowai, Oct 7: The West Jaintia Hills District Police has introduced a QR Code system to facilitate reporting of illegal and criminal activities, infiltration of illegal immigrants, police misconduct and other matters requiring police attention.
Superintendent of Police Jagpal Singh Dhanoa in a press release said that members of the public can scan the QR Code to submit information or complaints anonymously.
He stated that the identity of the informant will be treated with confidentiality.
The SP also sought the cooperation of the public in maintaining law and order and ensuring a safe and secure environment for all citizens.
