Shillong, Sep 17: The Sauramandala Foundation will hold a two-day Shillong Chapter of Neighbourhoods of the Future (NOTF) beginning September 25.
NOTF is a place-based platform bringing together communities, youth, practitioners, organisations, government representatives and local stakeholders to reflect on their neighbourhoods, share experiences and explore possibilities for collective action.
The programme will feature two parallel sessions, the Ecosystem Enablers session and the Youth Circle, at the Bosco Integrated Development Society (BIDS), Nongshiliang, Nongthymmai.
On September 26, discussions will move beyond the venue through an immersive city walk across different parts of Shillong.
Shillong residents have been invited to share views to bring local perspectives into the wider conversation on the city’s future.
