Jowai, Aug 28: A district level Science seminar on ‘Indian Energy Basket 2047: Prospect & Challenges’ was held today at the District Library Auditorium, Mynthong.
Organised by the District School Education Officer, West Jaintia Hills, 10 schools participated in the programme, aimed to inculcate scientific enquiry among students.
DSEO Wa-i-sa Sumer extended wishes and highlighted the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.
Ewanmisa Suting of HK Singh Memorial Secondary School, Jowai emerged as the winner securing the first prize, while Rehan Rymbai of QC Springside Higher Secondary School and Iarika Gashnga of Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Secondary School, Lamin secured the second and third place respectively.
