Shillong, Jun 15: A one-day Hindi workshop for officers and staff was held at the National Statistics Office (Field Operations Division), Regional Office, Shillong recently.
The aim was to provide hands-on practice in practical Hindi used in day-to-day government operations, enabling the participants to draft notes and drafts originally in Hindi.
During the workshop, Monoijit Das, the Deputy Director General, emphasised the importance of striving towards the annual targets established by the Department of Official Language.
The workshop witnessed the virtual participation from officers and staff of the Regional Office in Aizawl, as well as representatives from the Agartala office.
