Shillong, May 13: The NASSCOM Industry Leaders Meet 2026 will take place in Shillong on Thursday, bringing together technology bosses from a variety of companies.
The state government is hoping that this will be a step in its plans to make Meghalaya a ‘Digital Hub’ of eastern India.
The industry leaders meet will run alongside the May 15 BPM (Business Process Management) Executive Council.
The NASSCOM attendees will also visit the Shillong Tech Park at Umsawli. The first phase of this facility is already up and running, with eight companies occupying the premises. Around 1,200 people have been employed directly at the tech park. The state is also planning to open phase two in the next few months and is looking to attract further investment through it.
