Shillong, Apr 27: The National Human Rights Commission has opened the 12th edition of its annual competition for short films on human rights.
Online entries are invited from the citizens of the country irrespective of any age group.
The last date for receiving the entries is June 30, 2026. Entries have to be sent online at nhrcshortfilm@gmail.com, using Google drive folder.
The prize money for the first, second and third best film will be Rs. 2 lakh, Rs. 1 lakh 50 thousand and Rs. 1 lakh respectively. The commission, in addition to these three cash awards, certificates and trophies may also consider giving a Certificate of Special Mention along with a cash prize of Rs.50, 000 each to a maximum of four films, if so recommended by the Jury.
