Shillong, Mar 1: The opposition Trinamool Congress (TMC) released its second list of candidates for the upcoming Garo Hills Autonomous District Council (GHADC) elections yesterday.
The TMC state election committee approved six names after examining inputs from the party’s election selection committee. The GHADC polls are scheduled for April 10.
The six candidates are Tening Ch Sangma (Wagesik), Sarbha R Marak (Barengapara), Sairil D Marak (Amongpara), Gamrik K Sangma (Nogorpara), Premananda Koch (Zikzak) and Ranicheanik Chenika C Marak (Shyamnagar).
The party has now announced candidates for 20 seats.
