Shillong, Feb 18: The Central government has promoted four Meghalaya State Forest Service officers to the Indian Forest Service (IFS).
As per the notification issued by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Rupanker K Marak, Maxborn M Sangma and Nazia Rossy D Marak are promoted to the IFS under the select list of 2023 and Arpiyush Ch Sangma under the select list of 2024.
The promoted officers have been allocated to the Assam-Meghalaya Joint Cadre.
