Shillong, Feb 18: The inauguration of the new Wonder Pawns Chess Academy will take place on February 21 at the Khasi National Dorbar Hall in Mawkhar here.
The inauguration will be held in conjunction with the 1st Female One Day Rapid Chess Tournament 2026 from 9:30am.
This event aims to promote chess among young talents and encourage greater participation of women in the sport, a press release signed by Wonder Pawns general secretary S Khonglah said today.
