Shillong, Dec 9: A divisional level Dak Adalat will be held in the office of the Senior Superintendent of Post Offices in Shillong December 12 at 11: 30 am.
Grievances pertaining to postal services for redressal will be taken up during the adalat.
The office said written complaints will be received through ordinary post or speed post with the subject ‘Dak Adalat’ superscribed on the cover and addressed to the Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Meghalaya Postal Division, Shillong – 793001 on or before December 11. Complaints, if any, received after this period will be redressed through the usual channel.
A complainant should put in full details like complete address and registration receipt number. For complaints about Saving schemes and Postal Life Insurance, the account number, policy number and full address of the depositor or insurer should be given.
