Shillong, Nov 27: In view of ongoing construction work at the Shillong Peak junction under the Shillong-Dawki Road project, vehicular movement on the stretch from 5th Mile towards the Air Force Station gate at Shillong Peak will remain closed from 10pm to 6am daily from November 29 to December 1.
Signage and barricades will be arranged and only emergency vehicles and authorised service vehicles will be allowed to use this road during the aforementioned hours.
All commuters have been advised to take note and make adjustments to their travel itinerary if applicable. Commuters are requested to use the Pomlakrai to 12th Mile road as an alternative during the closure periods.
