BJP MLA, Sanbor Shullai today boasted that his party could create lakhs of job opportunities in five years for the State if it comes to power and will provide jobs to youth working outside.
“We can create lakhs of job opportunities and have up to 10 battalions within five years if the BJP comes into power in Meghalaya and we will also call back all the youth working outside the state and give them a job here,” he said.
Stating that there are 75,000 educated youth who have moved out to big cities to secure jobs because there are no opportunities in the State, Shullai lamented that Meghalaya does not even have a medical and engineering college
He reiterated that Nagaland is farsighted by electing 12 MLAs from the BJP. Two years ago Nagaland got a sanction of Rs 5000 crores for enhancement of the existing Naga regiment with the creation of 2000 posts and last year they got Rs 8000 crores with a proposal for the creation of another 7 lakh posts in various departments, he added.
“They understand that development and the future of any state can come only through the Narendra Modi BJP led government and now Nagaland is safe,” he stated.
Stating that other Northeastern states have started to understand the benefits of having a BJP-ruled state, he said that recently the BJP emerged as the single-largest party in the Mara Autonomous District Council (MADC) election in Mizoram because they also understand that the political propagandas against the BJP are all baseless.
He further pointed out that the BJP government in Assam under the leadership of its CM Himanta Biswa Sarma is giving spot government appointment letters to thousands of youth which is another proof that the Modi government does not only give lip service to its people like the congress.
Shullai further urged the people not fall for the other political parties, who appear only during the elections with false promises.
