In a blow to the Congress party, four senior party functionaries from South West Khasi Hills have resigned from the party.
The leaders who resigned from the party include South West Khasi Hills District Congress Committee president K K Nongsiej, Mawkyrwat Block Congress Committee president Valentine Thyrniang, Mawkyrwat Block Mahila Congress Committee president Dr. B Marweiñ and South West Khasi Hills District Youth Congress president Valdo Lyngdoh.
